Langtang valley trek is one of the most popular trekking destinetion in Langtang Himalayas and it is situated in the north of Katmandu. Actually the Langtang valley lies at the south of the Tibetan border, is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. This treks also called "the valley of glaciers trek". Mountain View is excellent and surrounding spectacular views of mountains such as . Langtang Lirung (7246m) lies to the north; Gang Chhenpo(6388m) and Naya Kanga ri (5846m) lie to the south and Dorje Lakpa(6966m). On either side of valley, mountains rise, soaring in to the sky. The valley offers pain forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow- capped peaks. In the upper part of valley there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lake with icebergs floating on them and water of crystalline brightness. There are also high mountains of solid ice. On the way of trekking, we will have a trek through Langtang National Park as it is located at the very edge of the Park. We also have chance to see some wild animals and birds. Among them are the monkeys, musk deer, Pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Danphe. We continue our Trekking to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m), in between, we cross many rivers along a gorge and pass through oak and rhododendron forests and glacial moraine. After an overnight stay in Gompa, we visit the local yak cheese factory and have a view of the glaciers, which is also a gateway to Tibet and we return to Syabru besi.
